Grey Fox last ITK said Danny Rose is not happy. So he's basically throwing his toys out the pram because he will have competition for Left Back position. If he's not willing to stick around and fight for his place, then GET RID!!!! Trust me he's not good enough to be pissed off.

He's not happy that we bought a lb. Doesn't mean that he's done anything wrong.

If he wants to go, let him. Same with any player at the club.

Wouldn't be surprised if this is his last season as he has 1 year left on his contract IIRC. Looked a shadow of his former self last season

That was from me.... It wasn't even a "Maybe". I was told "Definitely" retiring. Possibly re-evaluated his fitness and how much he can be pushed?

Sandro is 6 squillion miles away from ITK. At least there's been some on Vorm. I haven't followed the thread that far back but if people are fed up doing the hokey cokey with that Griffin chap then not replying to his posts would be the place to start.

Loyalty works both ways... We support all our players that are loyal. I don't know about what Rose "thinks" but he sure as hell haven't shown anything to suggest he would "die" for the club!

F*** Danny Rose! He should be grateful he's playing Prem football. Even more grateful he's with Spurs. I would have shown him the door a long time ago. Not good enough for any club with ambitions of top 4. The same goes for Naughton and Dawson. I also hate to say it... But Kaboul is not the same player . He's looking more a liability each game. Let's get Ben Davies signed on the dotted line asap. I'm being optimistic but i also hope we sign another 2 Centre Backs.

If and it is a big IF he has kicked up a stink, then yeah I agree with you, he should f off. But as we all know ITK always comes with some salt & this may or not be the case.

If it is the case that he believes he should be first choice no matter what, then that will only show either

1. He doesn't believe he's good enough to compete with Ben Davies (which is a terrible attitude for a player hoping to make it as a professional sportsmen) or
2. He believes he is the best player in the world and it's our management who know nothing about football and are crazy for bringing in competition (again a terrible attitude without any silverware or motm performances to back that up)

As I said I hope it's not true as it's just taken us 12 months to get two LB's, and as we all know we need 2 x players in every position.

I'm hoping that if Davies comes in then Rose and him bring out the best in each other. Both are young and still learning.

But I'm always optimistic

Tbh I'd be slightly puzzled if Rose was happy with the Davies possible signing. He's 24 now, Davies obviously first choice and so the likelihood is he may only start a handful of games. Thought for a while it just doesn't quite fit him staying. With our squad it's extremely likely he won't even be on bench for 90% of the games.

Is Fryers good enough yet? Not sure. Vertonghen back at LB if needed assuming we signed a first choice CB? I wish we had a player who could play LB & RB competently, like half way between Naughton and Lahm.

Wouldn't mind Richards coming in just because of him being able to cover CB/RB. I'd personally prefer to see additions like Richards and Dier, though. Youth/upside with some talent that can contribute immediately.

Richards interests me. If it is a loan then on his best form that is a good deal. On his worst form..how bad is that? I am fed up with Kaboul tying his bootlaces literally and metaphorically.

I feel ya, but got a feeling poch might give velkovich (or however you spell it) a proper chance to show what he's got this pre-season. I'm not too hot on MR as a RB, even a back up tbh.
