The weekend before the storm.

You think it's bad for is? La liga has to do their tax returns say good bye to deportivo, and remember things can always be worse.

Sorry a&c i forgot, sieg heil (not meant to be racist for our more easily offended readers).

If southampton sign Damiao I'll be p*ssed. 3 years we've spent and they just whack an offer down. Do they not know how things are done in South America? If that happens I'll ensure I place a large amuzingly shaped legume into Internacional's Chairmans crevice ;)

If they slap an offer down and it's accepted, it isn't the Inter chairman's crevice that would need attention. Look closer to home.

Good morning fellow SC'rs!!

What ITK on Kaboul?
Wasn't really centered on Kaboul, but it was noted that Kaboul's knee injury is somewhat similar to Hudd's ankle in that it may be with him forever to some degree.

Righty Roo, hopefully it will not restrict him on the pitch as it did our Ledley.

If what JJ says is correct, and I have no reason to doubt it (it's something I thought had a familiar feeling to it), then he's already on his way down. If we get 2 or 3 more quality seasons out of him it'll be a minor miracle. It's only get worse over time. Still, there's that Ajax and Belgium compatriot of Jan's we're keeping tabs on. Alderwerieldederereredrellredredreed (or whatever the hell his stupidly complicated name is, Goddam idiot Belgian names). Shame really. He was just coming into his own the last couple of seasons that he played.

I fancy a big season for Steven caulker this year. I do think we will bring in another CB though
Yep. Jan, Daws and Caulker is a fine trio of CBs. Depends on what the club wants. Another CB to seriously compete for a starting spot and I think we'll go in for that Toby guy. If just a body for depth/cover and a player with room to grow we have more options and for less money.

his knee is kabooomed? :( It's no wonder, as there's 46 stone of pure muscle weighing down on it.

It'll be a tragedknee if he doesn't come back properly and get at least a couple of years alongside Superjan as a 1st choice partnership. I love the monster.

and caulker, well, he's no Younes. but maybe he can be with a season of 1st team games for us.

Don't write of kaboom yet, I'm sure he will be back. I thought we had some itk a few months back saying these rumours were unfounded?

So are we all expecting paulinho and villa next week? Still wouldn't mind that centre back from Ajax alderweileld and the Brazilian striker who's name eludes me right now...

The Inter chairman seems to have turned his attention from DL's crevice, to bending Southampton over.

Very tactful. ;)

Inter may accept an offer from Southampton, but would LD want to go there? I think he would be stupid to do so.
