So, going on the itk we have seen this weekend, how would everyone feel if we managed to complete a Summer spree of - Lloris, Sahin/M'Villa, Adebayor and Damaio in the coming week or so. Add these to Vertonghen and Sigurdsson. Would you see that as a general squad upgrade?

I would definitely see it as a squad upgrade. And a huge success for the transfer window. I would prefer to not get Sahin/M'villa and just not sell Modric. I would be happy with just the 2 strikers and thrilled to add Lloris as well.

I would feel great...until I woke up.

levy played his cards perfect. manc need to get rid of ade, in order to buy new players (eg RVP). they are not used to playing the waiting game as they expect the get every single player they want. suddenly they are stuck with a situation where the only way is to pay ade off, in order for him to not block any transfer. manc will yield before us, and they will pay the money. from there we save millions of dollars.

leandro will also be dragged on, because internacional has bought their replacement for damiao. they will expect us to bid now so its 1 in 1 out. but levy knows. levy will not bid early as he understands that the longer he drags, the sooner internacional realised they fucked themselves with an extra striker, and now they have no choice but to off load one of them because they have a overpopulated strikeforce. levy will enter later in the window, a time where internacional will say " fuck it lets just take it,its better than nothing". i believe that would be around 13 - 16m. again from there, we saved another few millions.

of course then comes the unknown, the CM replacement and the keeper. If our funds are sufficient to bid for both strikers without having to sell modric, i reckon we will get the goal keeper before or around the time our first striker is done. thats because modric's transfer would only affect modric's replacement, nothing else.

if modric's fund is directly affecting the transfers, we might very well leave the goal keeper as our last transfer, after we have secured modric's replacement because its the least of our priority. and if this is the case, either option A:modric out, mout in, butland(OR no keeper) in, or option B: modric out, cheaper cm replacement in(sahin, mvila), lloris in.

of course theres also the last option, which is modric staying. if he stays, then it really comes down to how much fund we have left after purchasing the two strikers. if we have enough left, i'm sure we'll go for lloris again. if not its once again butland or nothing
