Tottenham could make it a double raid on Norwich this summer - with a move for defender Ben Godfrey. Jose Mourinho is already intent in bringing full-back Max Aarons to White Hart Lane in the summer in a deal potentially worth around £30million.

I know nothing about Godfrey, but defence is the team, no one player can make a defence good or bad.

Doherty is 28, so can’t see us splurging. Good player though. I’d take Aarons, Godfrey and Cantwell. Think they’d all flourish in a good team. Is White the guy on loan from Brighton?

Yes you're right, 28 is the only down side with Doherty, the other rb id like is Pereira from leicester but I think he's similar age re ben White, not sure if they bought or loaned him tbh but mentioning Brighton, Lewis Dunk is solid.

Hull City conceded 80 goals in their final PL season, 11 more than anyone else in the league, and they had Andy Robertson and Harry Maguire in their defence - both of whom played almost every match of the campaign then got big moves, and I think we'd all agree they would both walk into any team in the league right now.
