I am working on opening the new Tottenham Foodbank at the former Tottenham Town Hall, a hugely important building in the history of our great club.

On the day of Spurs v Crystal Palace we will be holding a Food Donation Drive outside the Town Hall.

We are calling on all in attendance at the game to stop off at a Supermarket, grab a tin of food and drop it off on the way to the game.

Any help will be hugely welcome and appreciated!!

I used to volunteer at a food bank for a few years here in Dublin. I know how important they are and how invaluable they are to to the clients.

I wish you every success!!

Genuine question. Where's Tottenham Town Hall located? I will be coming over from Malta for that game and would gladly donate for a good cause.

It's near Seven Sisters. If you walk up from Seven Sisters you pass it on your left.

It is between Seven Sisters and the stadium, on the High Road, slightly set back.

I will be coming in from the other direction so won't pass the town hall but if there's a JustGiving page or similar I'd donate.

Was there a good response to the appeal yesterday?

We collected 8 large crates full, which we were all delighted with.

On top of that, the feedback from those who did support was incredibly valuable and we will look to improve on what we did at the next one, date TBC.

We found it very difficult to persuade many from breaking from their usual routines of walking from Seven Sisters straight to the ground/pub without any willing diversions. So we will look at that, as well as hoping the club will give us a drop off point directly outside the stadium somewhere.

Thank you to those SC members who stopped off, was good to get to say hi to a few.

Brilliant work your doing

I was one of those who both forgot and didn’t see any reminders etc on the walk up. Would 100% have dropped something off if I’d A. Remembered on the madness of a matchday and or 2 been reminded.

2 ideas that would make a huge difference would be reminders as you come out of Seven Sisters tube and a drop off point somewhere between the tube and the ground

I came in from the other end of Tottenham so nowhere near Seven Sisters. Hopefully next time I can organise my travel better would be great to see what you are up to. Sadly the need is huge as food poverty is a major issue and yet ten years ago it was so different. All the best for the development of the project

Thanks, we did have volunteers handing out leaflets at Seven Sisters to remind people but unfortunately it's a bit of a gauntlet of 'leafleters' down there, with at least 3 other groups (including THFC) doing the same thing.

The drop off point was at Town Hall, and it was signposted but not well enough, so we will work to improve that.

We are looking at the Watford game for the next collection and I have approached the club to see if they would be willing to let us take up a position nearer to the stadium, similar to how Liverpool do.
