Form: Spurs LWWWW Man City WWLLL (All competitions)

We have won our last two home league games Man City. We last had a longer run against them between 2005 and 2009 (6). Man City have only won one of their last five EPL games against us (D1 L3)., though it was in the reverse fixture in December (4-1). This will be the third EPL game to kick off at this time on a Saturday, after Soton vs Arse 26 Dec 2015 and Leicester vs Manu 23 Dec 2017.

Man City have won two away EPL games in London this season, the only campaign in which they have won more in the competition was 2013-14 (4). These two wins have come at Arsenal and Chelsea. Only three clubs have ever won away at all three of Arsenal. Chelsea and Us in the EPL - Charlton, Coventry and Blackburn Rovers.

We are unbeaten in our last 14 EPL games (W11 D3). We last had a longer unbeaten run in the top flight between January and August 1967 (20 games). Man City are looking to avoid back to back EPL defeats for the first time since 2016.

Only Shearer (14), Rooney (11) and Hasselbaink (11) have scored more EPL goals against Spurs than Sergio Aguero has (10). However, he hasn't scored in any of his last 5 games against us. Eriksen has scored in three consecutive games in all competitions for us for the first time since joining us, netting 5 goals in total in this run.

Son has been directly involved in 27 goals for us in all competitions this season (18 goals and 9 assists), where 22 of these have come at Wembley, more than any other player for us in 2017 -18.

Tough one. On simple stats City had the better of Pool and Utd but lost out on those critical moments when lack of concentration did them in. I don’t think they are psychologically fucked just yet so we need to bring our A game to this encounter. An early goal could put the knife into them but this side hasn’t lead the PL simply on luck, they are a bloody good team. The wings are going to be key here and the battles on the touch line could be critical. After Alonso galloped into alarming gaps vs Chelsea our FB selection will be key. I see a hotly contested game with two teams prepared to press and attack. I think we can win this if the battles in MF and on the wings fall in our favour. Expect HK and Dele to turn up for a fight as both have something to prove. COYS!!

Sane has been gash for City the last two games.... Bet you he turns up today. Would be nice to get a win. Guaranteed that Walker will play like baresi today too.

I'm still not sure if it is a good time to play them. Are they going to be completely demoralised or desperate to prove last week was a blip. Anyway really looking forward to this. I think we can take them if we play as we know we can.

Fernandinho was their best player against Liverpool IMO so it's great for us that he won't play. It's hard to imagine them losing 4 games in a row but now is the time to do it, they will be tired and we are in good form.

No Fernandinho is a bigger boost for us than no Aguero. He is critical to how they play. Really hope Dembele has one of those days today, because he could totally overrun their midfield if he does.

I know today is officially "Is Gascoigne going to have a crack? He is you know. Oh I say." day, but I do think it's worth mentioning that the last time we played Manchester City at Wembley, this happened.

I'll leave it up to the team as to which goal they'd like to replicate today, although if they care to do both, that would be nice.

I know he hasn't scored against us in his last 4 or 5 games, but Aguero always gives me nightmares (probably due to the fact he was about 10 in 7 against us at one point). So I'm delighted he's out. As mentioned, Fernandinho missing will be huge too.

For me it depends whether their front free of Sterling, Jesus and Sane turn up. Regardless of their poor form, with Silva and De Bruyne feeding those three they will always have a chance. Going to be a huge test for Sanchez in particular, his pace will be vital.

It's also comforting that this isn't a must win game, which it looked like a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully the lads go in calm, composed and confident.

3-1. Kane brace and Son.

You mean the time to lose 4 in a row is on the back of losing the last 3...….. well i never :cautious::barefoot:;)

This is the match and goal that really got me into football and Spurs, I got given the VHS a few years later when we got our first Ferguson toploader (millennials won't know what the hell that even means), you could lose a finger in that fucker if you weren't careful!
Wore the tape out watching that goal over and over and over again.

I will be driving up from Bournemouth for the game, so I really hope that my journey home in the middle of the night being diverted all over the country lanes of Hampshire is a happy one. COYS!!!
