Who is EXCITED?!?!

This afternoon, we have the honour and privilege of yet again featuring in a Champions League Draw

GET READY!!!!

I'm that happy.

Of course, we'll have to endure that all of Liverpool, Chelsea and City are seeded in pot 1, but I really only see silver linings apart from that. There should be more than enough interesting group combinations to be entertained this autumn. Personally, I wouldn't mind Barcelona because that kind of shit is what it is all about. Pot 3 has a few nice, tempting away days, all of Bruges, Salzburg and Lyon would make for a fantastic little Autumn football getaway.

I see no risks and only rewards in this draw, so finally we can WELCOME home some Champions League footie to our new stadium.

Bayern, Salzburg and Genk would be a fun group.

My only wish is to not draw Inter. I'm sick of the sight of them.

Quite limited on who we can draw from pot 1. Inter, Leverkusen and Valencia would be the least favourable in pot 3 with a trip to Moscow not really wanted in pot 4.

My prediction. Juve, Leverkusen and Galatasaray.

I want Bayern though. A giant we've never faced.

I would like PSG, personally. Bit annoying the draw is so late at 6pm.

We played them a few weeks ago... :cautious:

Yeah, I know...

Doesn’t matter who we get. At this level you have to be feared as much as you fear. Bring it on.

I was at a game back in '83 and I'm sure we beat Bayern then......it might have been one of my drug induced fantasies so don't hold me to it!

Barring a few names, Pot 3 and 4 are weak this year. I'd be disappointed if we didn't progress, regardless of the draw.

Avoid Inter in Pot 3 and we'll be fine.

So I assume toughest group is going to be a combo of:

1] Barcelona / Juve / Bayern
2] -
3] Inter / Valencia / Lyon
4] Galatasaray / Leipzig / Atalanta

I think it's basically guaranteed we'll be in same group as Inter.

Liverpool will get Zagreb and Man City will get Bruges

What I don't understand is why we are always 'Tottenham' but never 'Tottenham Hotspur' according to UEFA. Also noticed this on quite a few broadcasts now, it's odd that they never give our full title, and I've looked but it seems we're the only club they do that to.

Honest I’m past caring who we get at this stage, as always seem to get the “Group Of Death” anyways, just hope our form picks up before then !

Best possible group:
Zenit, Spurs, Club Brugge, Slavia Prague.

Worst possible group:
Bayern, Spurs, Inter, Galatasaray

Luckily, we can't get both of Juve and Inter, and also can't get both of Bayern and RB Leipzig.

I think it’s complete bullshit that the EL winners are in pot 1. And I’d be saying it even if it wasn’t Chelsea.

You just know we’re getting a shitty difficult group while at least two other Prem sides get it easy.

Every fucking year
