An expensive PL premium for a player with little end product seems the opposite of what we should be doing.

He’s in the last year of his contract so the fee would be reduced.

Imo could be good back up to Lucas and we could add rose to reduce the cost.

For a change, here is a "linked" player I have seen play at length at least 7-8 times and not once have I seen anything to recommend him, other than pace. He seems to lack creativity, shooting ability, close-passing skills and unpredictability.

He's quick and he tracks back well. That's about it. I'd be surprised if we were interested.

If I only had £60 million to spend I’d rather buy 2 x £30 million players than 4 x £15million players.
Quality comes first. Gray is a good but under valued and probably under used player by Leicester but why?

He's now 24 and still the same player he was when Leicester bought him. Hopeful crosses and shots from downtown. Steer clear.

With one key difference : he’s rubbish and they are not.

Hopefully this is nonsense as it would be a pointless signing.

Given the gaps we have, should we be looking for potential backup players or players who are as good and better than the ones we have now? If we do that then they can compete for their place and both can spur each other on to improve.

I can't believe we are interested in him very overrated player. Can't see him getting much playing time. So don't see it happening.
