Palace 3-1 up at Everton. So we have UTD, Liverpool and Everton all losing and all we have to do is beat West Brom at home..... oh well.

That's bollocks. We turned down offers for rose and Townsend that would have made us £20m or so to reinvest. Other clubs managed to work around the world cup. Is it only a handicap for spurs?

Not getting rid of Rose has turned out ok at the moment, Townsend we don't know who was responsible for turning the bid down, unless your privy to what goes on in the boardroom?
Our pre season wasn't great, look at all the players coming back in dribs and drabs, it didn't go smoothly at all, Poch got practically no time with a complete group, most of the top 6/7 didn't change coaches or have major upheaval, bar Liverpool who are also struggling.

United lost at Leicester, Everton losing at home to Palace, Liverpool trashed by West Ham
At least our competition for 4th lost points as well - opportunity lost though

Poch himself came out and said Townsend was a part of his plans.
I think that cemented my pre appointment view that he was nothing more than flavour of the month.
Townsend is awful, if I was manager and heard someone bid £10-£12m for him I'd knock levy out for saying no!
Rose has looked ok going forward. At times.
I'd say little more than that.

Utter tripe. Clueless, no movement no effort.

I thought Poccehtino was supposed to be a good coach. No evidence of that.

Our policy of selling top players and replacing them with mediocre ones isn't working.

Second season and last years signings look more pony than ever.

Idiotic comment.

He didn't come out and say it. He was asked during an interview. What do you expect him to say about Townsend when he was asked?

"He's fucking useless and I'd sell him in a heartbeat but Levy won't do the deal. So I'm stuck with him and will play him in the Europa games"

He didn't make the squad for one premier league game and has been benched in others. Hardly someone in his plans?

Just listening to the radio where a 94 year old Spurs fan called in.

Season ticket holder who's supported Spurs for nearly 90 years said it was one of the worst performances at the lane that he's seen.

I would sell Townsend too, what Poch thought privately and said publicly is two different things. would you seriously say in an interview he wasn't part of your plans, you can't do that, you really can't.

I swear I saw someone say Pochettino is a marked improvement on Sherwood.

You couldn't make it up.

We haven't won in our last 4 games failing to score in 3 off them and in 3 of those games we were playing teams supposedly beneath us.

In what parallel dimension is that better than Sherwood who actually got us winning and scoring, be it with an annoying attitude?

Seriously, we've been dogshit in every game bar QPR who themselves are pathetic.

We are scoring! Didn't you see Kane's wonderful own goal?

Sherwood would've but got slated for speaking the truth.

Pochettino after the following matches...

Tottenham 0-3 Liverpool
"We need to learn and improve - today was a very tough game for us."

Liverpool lost the next two Premiership games after we made them look good.

Sunderland 2-2 Tottenham
"I am very disappointed. When you create a lot of chances it is difficult to accept the draw. We need to improve. We need to be more aggressive and more focused."

We blew the lead twice when the game was already won.

Tottenham 0-1 West Brom (yes, West Brom!)
"I'm disappointed and angry. I think we had a very bad day.

"We played very, very slow. We need to be more alive and play quick. We didn't create too much. We made a big mistake on the set-piece."

Improve, improve, improve! There's a pattern here so when exactly is this gonna start happening? Maybe start by playing the players we bought as opposed to have them just hanging around the place.

The only thing Poch has improved since joining us is speaking English to the media.

So let's see....

Arsenal 11-0 Tottenham
"We need to learn and improve - today was a very tough game for us.".

"I'm disappointed and angry. I think we had a very bad day."

"We played very, very slow. We need to be more alive and play quick. We didn't create too much. We made a big mistake on their 8th goal at the set-piece."

We make a profit every transfer window, what does the owner and chairmen expect? We weaken our squad every season and sell the good ones and keep the shit. Small club mentality. Hopefully they sell and we can have a fresh start because something is rotten to the core at spurs and has been for a while now.

Dont worry its all gonna be allright! In january we will identify what players we need for Pochettinos style to work....

....and then pick up some bargains instead when those deals for some reason fall through!

This one up front system is simply not going to cut it in the Prem its just going to derail us in long run I'm afraid.Especially with our resources.
