Troy Parrott unsure on Tottenham Hotspur future after Preston North End loan

Preston North End loan striker Troy Parrott isn't overly sure what the future holds for him at Tottenham Hotspur.

The Republic of Ireland man is back fit after a serious hamstring injury ruled him out of action for around four months. He has scored three goals for PNE this season, in all competitions, and has 11 games left of his Deepdale spell.

I’d say it’s safe to say his future is elsewhere at this point. He hasn’t kicked on.

I think people judging him as a striker hasn't helped. I believe he's been playing more as a wide forward. He's a very hard working player that doesn't seem to have been getting into the right positions to score - why that is I couldn't say.

At 21 I would be inclined to send him on loan for one more season for a team that plays attacking football and see how he fairs.

Worst case scenario is we can get a good fee with future performance based payments

He might be able to fill a gap we have up front next season if we lose a certain player.....

Some players perform better at a higher level. He may be making runs that Championship midfielders don't see, or playing passes his team-mates don't expect.
I wouldn't write him off just yet.

Kane didn’t exactly set the world alight with his loans but he turned out ok
