My information about this being unlikely came from a certain BBC journo, but it was a bit (maybe an hour) before the partnership was announced. I had planned to call up all night about another player, but I might see if he has a different answer with this new info.

Cheers Val, makes sense what with our new partnership with Inter, my guess is that Dos Santos would go in the other direction, would seem like a fair swap to me!

This isnt based on my knowledge at all... but could the supposed 14m bid we made according to the Journo's and the chairman of Inter actually be in Reais (the brazilian currency). I think then it is about £4.6m in sterling?

Could that be why the supposed fee is so high? They are asking for about 26m Reais according to some papers which is actually about 8.7m... a realistic fee?

PS: my knowledge of Reais isn't that great, I think the conversion rate is about 3 Reais to the pound but I'm not 100% sure.

(the all knowing) google has it as
1 British pound = 3.05860802 Brazil reais

I do hope your right on this. Sounds a better price for him as well
