Swedish starlet Valmir Berisha confirms Liverpool, Tottenham, Sunderland & Celtic offers
SWEDISH striker Valmir Berisha has revealed that Liverpool, Tottenham, Sunderland and Celtic are among the clubs that have tried to sign him.
The 17-year-old starlet, who currently plays for Halmstads, has attracted interest from clubs across Europe after his impressive performances at the Under-17 World Cup where he was top scorer.
Berisha, who has been dubbed the new Zlatan Ibrahimovic, looks certain to leave Sweden in the near future but has confirmed there will be no shortage of clubs that want to take him on when the time comes.
He told Aftonbladet: "I have got offers from everywhere, from England, Italy, Spain, Germany, Holland and Russia. There are some options.
"The clubs who have shown the biggest interest are Ajax, Milan, Liverpool, Sunderland, Tottenham and Celtic.
"They have all offered me contracts. But it is a matter of choosing the right one, that is the most important."
However, Berisha's priority when it comes to choosing a new club will be playing time as he looks to continue his development.
He added: "I want to join a club who need a striker.
"Then I can exploit that to get playing time.
"I don't think I will join a very big club.
"My agent has give me suggestions, but he lets me decide."
It now remains to be seen whether Liverpool, Tottenham or Sunderland can meet the player'srequirements or he instead opts to go elsewhere to take the next step in his career.
