This life in soccer has taken Victor Wanyama far and wide, from Kenya to Sweden then Belgium to England, and now Canada.

He's got nothing to apologise for. Injuries did for him in the end but when he was fit he was one of the very best in his position. Hope it works well for him in Canada.

It's a shame because he was such a good fit when he arrived. Sad that injuries took such a toll on him.

Palacios, Sandro, Parker, Dembele, Wanyama. Our CMs the last decade have been cursed with career-hampering injuries.

No hard feelings at all about Wanyama, it was such a shame he only managed that one stunning season before the injuries got to him.

We got Parker too late in his career, top player but when you play like he does your knees can't last long. Shame we didn't nab him as a youth would have been a legend for us.

No apologies needed from the lad, he was the missing key to Poch's best team. There's no coincidence that we dropped off after he was struck down with the injury curse, and Dembele left.

All the best big man.
