Anyone who expected a young romainian defender to seamlessly adapt to the premier league is an idiot.

He has great potential though and I think he will be great for us once he reaches it.
to be fair, he nearly did seamlessly adapt. Very impressive for first season.

I thought he was ok last season. I would like us to keep a hold of him as he has the potential to be a very good player for us. Very similar situation as kaboul was in first time around

Wouldn't want to jettison any of last years deals but I really feel Chiriches can be a classy defender for us in a settled side and under good guidance by Poch - an international defender himself.

Wouldn't go for mega bucks to Italy either so don't see the logic in this one - hopefully just speculation.

This better be bullshit. After Vertonghen the last CB we should actively try not to sell. Buying one senior CB in today's market alone is a bitch, having to buy at least two is just utter insanity.

May be bullshit. There may be something to it. But at the moment it lacks very much in the way of logic or narrative to make it something to take too seriously.

Oh fuck off.

Sandro for Morgan is acceptable but it's getting back to Football Manager transfers again. Causing unnecessary upheaval again.

This better be BS.

Don't get this as an idea at all.

Chiriches suits Poch's systems to a tee IMO.

Completely agreed. While I don't think he's ready to be first choice just yet, I do think he will do very well under Poch. Can't imagine a more surprising departure this summer were this to happen, and that includes someone coming in with stupid money for Eriksen or Vertonghen.

Reports in Romania and Italy claim Vlad Chiriches is not in Mauricio Pochettino's plans and will leave Tottenham for Serie A soon.

Not surprising, early days yet but he doesn't look suited to the PL so far, question is can he adapt sufficiently

Maybe it's a question of raising extra funds for Lovren if as Koeman says Liverpool haven't bid
