So it seems our Vlad the Impisseder is attracting some interest

According to romaniansoccer.ro, both Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are interested in Tottenham 24 year old defender Vlad Chiriches

excellent news, if we also sell Daws, Verts & Kaboul, it means we can finally field a team with no central defenders

:wtf:

yet another player that isn't (according to spurscommunity) good enough for us but still good enough for Bayern..

Vlad is going to be quality, no doubt. Already shown more than enough to prove that this season. Shame for him to spend so long injured. Is he likely to be back this season?

I hope we don't sell him. Next year I'd like to see these CBs in our squad: Vertonghen, Kaboul, Chiriches, Caulker

ROCK imo

Now way is Caulker gonna come back from being captain at Cardiff to 4th choice at Spurs. He's not that great anyway, I'd rather we promote that youth defender everyone keeps raving about tbh.

I rate Vlad, and think he has all the qualities needed to become an excellent modern-day CB, even more so in a high-pressing quick system I suspect Poch will establish.

He's still only 24, and that was his debut season, not only in the PL, but in one of the top European leagues. He played in an ever-changing back-line during a very turbulent season for the club (more so than usual). And on top of that he suffered a pretty serious injury that sidelined him for several months. Of course he had some hairy moments, but that was to be expected considering all of the above. Yet he still managed to put in some excellent performances, with the Everton away match being the stand-out (kept Lukaku quiet all game).

He's quick & strong, reads the game well, versatile, good in the tackle and is extremely composed and skilful.

Really hope we keep him
