Out muscled all over the pitch.
Decisions from Ref, or rather the lack of them, today were a joke.
We are a shadow of our former selves.
Dark times ahead.

Apologies for having an opinion. I'll remember to keep my mouth shut next time or ask for your permission to speak.

Think most fans would objectively thinking disagree with you.

i must post the following. The one total passenger in that team is Eric Lamela. He contributes almost nothing from an attacking perspective.

He has the skill of a freestyle artist or a 5 a side player but is technically limited. He simply cannot use his right foot, his first touch is poor and he does not have tactical awareness to compensate for these limitations (like a Ryan Giggs). He frustratingly almost inevitably loses the ball in key attacking areas.

He is strangely almost more beneficial defensively - full of aggressive running and tackling, covering significant ground off the ball and provides fairly decent circulation in deep positions. Useful in particular games where we already have creative outlets. Frustrating in games where we are looking for additional creativity and ball retention - like today. Very poor touches and attempts in the Watford box. Plays with very limited intelligence.

Sorry but I had to say all that and get it off my chest

Yay a clean sheet.

Worrying that we looked capable offensively only when Eriksen came on and started pulling the strings around the box.

Tanganga did fantastically well given the torrid time he was given by Sarr with zero help. Kept to his task and saw off the threat. Well done kid.

Chelsea Home, Brighton home, Norwich away, Southampton Away, Liverpool home and Watford away. Plus a draw with Middlesbrough thrown in

5 points out of 18 is fucking dogshit. We could be 11 points off top 4 later
Oh grand old Jose Mourhino he had 11 men, he marched them up to the top four and he marched them back again.

Lamela’s right foot is the poorest I’ve seen in the top league. Makes him so predictable, pathetic really.
Good effort today but a mess up front and for whatever reason, our players just don’t look like scoring. Son, Dele, Lucas all look poor in front of goal when we know they’re more than capable.

Why will a new striker help us? He’ll just have Son, Moura and Alli all stood on his toes all game. Our lack of width is criminal.
Because we will have a natural target man who is use to that position working the line. Which Son and Moura are not

Hate the feeling that this doesn't feel that bad a result. We've been bad for ages, we have no striker, Watford are on form and it was their home game.

We were 12 behind before Mourinho started. He hasn't improved much yet, but you don't expect instant improvement when it's a case of a squad with very obvious issues rather than pure underperformance. Getting Top 4 from a 12 point deficit has I believe literally never happened in the Premier League - it's a totally unrealistic goal for this year. Arguably we could and maybe should have made a change earlier - even straight after the Champions League Final, given the general malaise, clear failure in squad building, open discontent in the media and unhappy players. But bygones are bygones, and the goal now is to reach the Europa League and continue rebuilding.

With the exception of City, we’ve been the most consistent team over the last five years. We were probably due a hell year.

But it’s just so frustrating how predictable so many of our current issues are and the club’s refusal to ever act proactively.

Let them have it, Jose. I love how he says it how it is.

Oliver and VAR today were nothing short of a disgrace. Again.

We looked more solid defensively. Just very poor in midfield again. Also lacking a target man in this system.

It's not much to shout about but if there's one thing we can take as a positive it's the clean sheet, and if you add in only one goal conceded in the last two last Premier League games that's progress of sorts.
On the downside we looked pretty toothless as an attacking threat.

Sometimes I feel like we just need more footballing IQ out there. Lamela, Lucas, Dele and Son (maybe less so) are all too guilty of too often not doing the right thing with the ball.

It was a rhetorical question. We could do with quite a few new players, including another forward.
