Welcome to the new Spurs Abroad forum which should, if used properly, do what it says on the box. On many other sites they have a small "Links" button to other sites around the world - I don't think they're well utilised and I think we can do much better than that.

If you're overseas and have a Spurs-related website you'd like to share, or if you're going overseas on holiday/business, or even relocating to another country, this is the forum for you.

Initially I'd like to have one thread for each country, rather like the one thread per player in Transfer Rumours. In that thread you can post links to Spurs fan sites in that country and can ask any questions of people who live there, hopefully it will give us a rich network of resources to access all around the world and demonstrate that we are a real global community.

If there is more than one site in a country (eg USA which probably has several) the mods will help to move the links to the first post in the thread to help people locate them easily. If we find a thread is becoming cluttered we can always separate it out at a later date and open threads for individual cities.

So if you're heading off on holiday during the season and want to know where you can watch a match with some fellow yids, or just want to find out some information about the place you're visiting, this is where you should be able to get help - try and search for your destination first, if there is already a thread up and running, ask your question in that thread rather than starting a new thread.

The resource is only as good as its members, so if you are overseas, even if you don't have a website up and running, open a thread and let people know where you are. Try and share a little bit about the activities of Spurs fans in your area in your first post, to give us a flavour of what's going on there. I hope we can make this work as I think it has the potential to be a valuable source of information, and as far as I can see, no-one else is doing anything like it at the moment.

COYS!!!
