Maybe not.. the linesman did what they’ve been told to do, don’t raise the flag let the move play out and VAR will check.
They're still told to flag offside after the goal is scored if they think it is.

I agree he is not a DM but Dier is a poor one either way. He was a passenger in the second half, mobility is a serious issue on top of poor passing. We definitely need a new proper DM.
Dier has been brilliant for us in the past in that position, Id like to think that he is capable of surpassing that form under the guidance of Jose.

I really liked what I saw. Solid for 65 minutes, no overplaying, not afraid to go long. Centre midfield felt a lot more assured. The final flurry of attacks was expected, but with 2 days on the training pitch, we will see a vast improvement in the coming months.

It's the little things that will help us as well, being nasty, clever fouls, time wasting and refs running scared of Mourinho.

Oh and who said he played boring football? Some lovely goals scored today. Judging by that performance, we've got a bright future again.

COYS!

Really happy with that today. We looked quite professional and just killed the game from the first minute. West Ham had fuck all chances really.

Winks is a rotation option, not first 11. Dier’s positioning was good. He did well.

We have a solid base to work from.
Agree mate. I think correct decision to start winks and dier in that game but I assume it’ll be ndombele and dier longer term perhaps Or we buy a world class CM. Winks did bring the ball forward well today and he has the attitude and some attributes that Jose will like.

3 points away from home, london Derby, job done. Lots more to come but it’s the start we needed.

No way in a million years we’re we winning that today under Pochettino, so you got to be happy with those 3 points, especially the first 70 mins where we were outstanding. Sloppy defence as per usual, but Mourinho will sort that 100%.

It's helpful to him that we've got another match in a few days. He'll learn more seeing them on the pitch against another team.
