I’m glad we faded. All our deficiencies laid bare in the last 25 minutes. Mourinho will not like experiencing that and will be ruthless in eradicating those deficiencies.

And Eriksen offered fuck all. As usual. Lo Celso from now on, please

When was the last time the top four felt to impenetrable? And they all have a game in hand, too.

Very happy with the 3 points today and happy with the performance for the first 60-70 minutes.

A lot of work for Mourinho to do, especially with the defence, but also a lot of positives to take from today, especially Dele’s first half performance.

Poor miss aside, I thought Lucas had a really good game. He's so much better just staying wide and stretching teams.

happy with that victory. good first half for the most part. second half started good but some nerve wracking last 20 minuets or so which was completely unnecessary - wtf happened with our intensity and calm composure? sort that out and we'll be fine I guess.

You can see in his face that Jose was irked by those two goals conceded. And THAT is what makes a difference. He'll pick up on that and work on it.

That last 15minutes shows why we never win trophies and big games.
So sloppy.
Indeed. That, I think, is what Mou will be working on when he spoke of bringing his ideas and changes in over time. The way I see it, (and obviously I'm no football manager) the base that he said he's inherited was the first 70 or so minutes. The last 20 minutes is what he'll be looking to change.

Very encouraging 60 minutes, but a worrying last 30 minutes.

One of the hallmarks of Mourinho's good teams is their ability to soak up pressure and deal with constant long balls or crosses. We don't have the team to do that. In fact, it's always been our biggest weakness under Poch. It'll be interesting to see if Mourinho can turn us into a team that does, whether he'll try something different or if he'll have to bring in new players to work that style.
