Davies is a defensive left back. He's never put a foot wrong. He could be great under Mourinho.

Agreed. Sanchez seemed to be playing more wide right behind Aurier. There is no reason why the two FBs should have the same brief and it seemed that Aurirr was given licence to push, whereas Davies was told to hold.

The Mourinho-effect!

REALLY pleased with the first 65 minutes, we played really good, and no park the bus-shit. That was great to watch my old Tottenham back.

Was it really that hard to play Lucas on the right, POCH? Just asking. Christ so much better.

The last 30 minutes I was not happy with. Looked like we just wanted to step back and defend the 3-0 lead, which we saw we're not good at - yet. But we will learn and get better i'm sure of that. Bring on Tuesday. COYS

Those last couple of minutes, wow, you can tell how players would love playing for him. I think if you do what he wants, behave how he wants and try like how he wants then as a player you’re going to succeed. He’s very passionate, like Poch. Maybe it’s because of his English being better but you can see why players would play for him, just like Poch.

A really good video with Mourinho from the club channel. Worth a watch. The second goal was something we’d practiced in training.

We need to find a way to bridge this gap between the fans and Jose, He's staying away out of respect which I can understand but the sooner he realises we've accepted him the better. He might be ex-chelsea but he's chosen to manage us and that counts and I'm sure he will have a point to prove against them as we always do. He feels the way about Kane/Dele as we do, also sounds like he feels the same way about Eriksen as we do but my point is we have common ground and I'm looking forward to bridging that gap asap. I don't think it will be that difficult for us to show respect towards Poch whilst also showing Jose we're behind him for this next chapter.

I actually think bringing Eriksen on was a good idea - not because I thought he played well, or even contributed, but because it will show Mou what Eriksen is: either a player woefully out-of-form that needs reinvigorated (or even reinvented) or a passenger that needs dropping. That's valuable information.
