One thing i forgot to add is we need to add different ways of scoring goals as when people play in a low block the coming in from the wing, low cross is not always going to work. We do seem to have forgotten that shooting from outside the box is a thing.
Yes, I feel we have players who could score from the edge of the box. Can't remember the last time we scored a goal like Harvey Barnes for Newcastle the other day. Probably Sonny.

Think we played well in general.

We have to stop putting low crosses into the 6 yard box if it's not quite working though. I feel we need to cut the ball back more and have someone arriving late in the box to shoot centrally. Only maddison made a cut back late in the game but unfortunately nobody was there to shoot.

Son at times dropped too deep, congesting that central area of the pitch

Zouma was literally free for every single corner they had. I was a bit gobsmacked by that leaving their tallest player unchecked.

Nonetheless, we're still a work in progress

I don’t think anyone believes we are anywhere near the finished article and Ange has repeatedly said this too.
Agree and understand, but my point still stands that Ange himself not showing me his own growth as Premier League manager.... I really
hope It's just his process and I'm completely wrong but sometimes these tactics at this stage seem.... well a little naïve still, lets hope this is not the trend as we enter the final stages of the season COYS....

Tonight has seen even meltier meltdowns than after the Fulham game which is strange as that one was the genuinely disgraceful performance
Surely a melty meltdown is not a very strong one, as it's melting? So a meltier meltdown is less of a meltdown, which makes sense since we played much better against West Ham than Fulham.

Conceded the third lowest number of shots in 2024, only Arsenal and City have conceded less, probably because we keep the ball. United have copped the most. Makes me wonder how we are conceding so regularly, something ain't working. Liverpool have faced more attempts than we have.

Because the vast majority seem to be corners and set pieces at the moment. And although we don't concede as many shots, the quality of chance we give up due to the way we play is much higher.
