No seriously, tell me, I'm really not sure anymore. I have never been this completely disillusioned with us.

What were you expecting? The first game with a caretaker manager? At least wait until we get a new manager and he has time to put his stamp on the team before slitting your wrists.

Were we really such a one man team (Bale)? Things have turned to utter shit in an unbelievable fast time. There is something very wrong at the football club at the moment and there are no quick fixes

Only thing I can say is properly integrating Lamela, Soldado and Eriksen into the team in the hope that we find some identity. But honestly I just don't know who we are any more. The thing that really hurts is that we feel so much like the mid table Spurs of old now.

Don't caretakers usually win their first match?

Please don't say Adebayor. It's fine that he scored and would love to see him performing well. But we all know how it eventually turns out with him.

It's not just the first game with the caretaker manager, it's everything from the start of the season to now. It's like a rollercoaster of emotions, except the rollercoaster only seems intent on burrowing through to the centre of the Earth.

We have a goalkeeper that is amazing but seems to still be unconcious. We have a defence which is fucking calamitous, making the same silly mistakes week-in week-out. We have a set of quality midfield players we never play and a set of incredibly average ones we never drop. We play a system that's seemingly taught via hieroglyphs, seeming to favour posession and high pressing, but lacking the complete understanding of why teams want possession and high pressing.

And a new manager? How do we fucking know we're getting one?

This is still nowhere near as bad as the post-League Cup Ramos days. I completely gave up during the 2 points from 8 games spell, not quite there yet.

I think it's the hope that killed me. I was so psyched at seeing the likes of Christian Eriksen, Erik Lamela, Roberto Soldado, players I've admired for years coming in. I thought we were going to blitz the league. We look so, so, so ordinary.

1) Adebayor looked good - and scored.
2) we created a few chances.
3) maybe we'll get a new manager soon....
4) toronto may buy defoe
5) if we'd won we'd have got city - a reason to be pleased with today.

not a lot - but its a start.....
