  • Sp**s fans really are the embodiment of Jay from the Inbetweeners, always bragging about getting action when in reality they are just a bunch of sad w*****s.
  • Perry nearly killed me on Talksport talking about Ange:
"He's not an elite coach yet, although he aspires to be, which is why he's at the Tottenham's of the world."
    Brilliant.
  • Same freaks who will call Arsenal ‘legends'
  • Portsmouth breaking their trophy drought before Sp**s, Birmingham breaking their trophy drought before Sp**s, Swansea breaking their trophy drought before Sp**s, Wigan breaking their trophy drought before Sp**s, West Ham breaking their trophy drought before Sp**s...and now hopefully freakin' Coventry...
  • First rival pummelled into nothing, don't feel left out though Sp**s...
    ...we see you Sunday.

Didn’t Portsmouth win the FA Cup in 2008? 3 months after we won the League Cup? So at that point we had literally won the last available trophy in England. But we were already in a trophy drought at that point?

I’m so confused.

Try not to read what they write. It's the equivalent of being dying of thirst in an open boat surrounded by salt water. It's tempting, but it will fry your brain.

Didn't all those clubs, except for West Ham break their trophy drought before Arsenal?, they went a decade without winning a Trophy, while all those Clubs, except for West Ham won one including us. Someone is certainly confused.

I want to know who these Spurs fans are that brag and big ourselves up so much. These other fans often bring stuff like it up. What they really mean is they've met a fan like that and now it's officially how we all are. Actually most of us I would say are pretty pessimistic.

Bragging about Birmingham winning a trophy before us, yet they beat Arsenal in that final. So bragging about how their own team lost a final?

Safe to say no Nobel Prize winners amongst them.

Arsenal fans are a funny bunch they really are. I have some good mates who are gooners and for the most part most of them can put their bias to one side and generally know their stuff but they do also seem to have a huge amount of very emotional very fickle entitled fans who the second they're doing well think they're going to win the quadruple and seem to love rubbing it into us spurs fans who are mostly sitting there laughing at their delusions of grandeur or they absolutely bottle it completely lose their head, want the manger out, want the board out, want the players out and have no energy left to take the piss out of us as they're so utterly exasperated and disappointed and let down by their own club.

For the most part I find Arsenal fans funny, they have this weird arrogance which is kind of like "ah bless" whereas the likes of Liverpool fans are actually just plain arrogant and seriously annoying, Chelsea fans are vile and plastic, West Ham also nasty/vile, I tend to not mind either of the Manc clubs fans.

Anyways basically can't wait until we smash them on Sunday and they have the biggest meltdown ever.

In all fairness I was doing the washing up and listening to TFC, and one of them was saying that VDV was the best defender in the world.

I love VDV. I think he's a Rolls Royce of a defender. But he's not the best in the world.

Every club has fans like it though and they're the ones who get picked for these shows because it gets people talking. They're really in the minority though.

  • Can't deny that. We both f*cking HATE Sp**s.
It's the only thing that makes Chelsea tolerable
  • First rival pummelled into nothing, don't feel left out though Sp**s...
  • we see you Sunday.
  • I see
Havertz scoring in this, their high line is perfect for him.
  • Rival again...
  • 1000107499.gif
  • Arteta and the lads should watch the video of that 3-0 defeat two seasons ago. On repeat, if possible.
It worked for Newcastle away this time last year...
  • That XI we put out vs Chelsea is tailor made to crush Sp**s
  • Fancy us here, Sp**s are very open and Ange will never ever change how he plays. I'd start Martinelli, he could feast against their high line.
Two weaknesses about Sp**s I hope our team has picked up on that we need to exploit.
    1. Vicario pisses his pants on corners/set pieces. With our set piece routines we need to make that count.
    2. Maddison is very emotional, our players need to try and wind him up (but be smart about it of course) and he could easily be rattled.
  • Let's smash these c*unts. If we do I back us to win our remaining games too
  • Sunday is going to be pure stress ffs.
  • Winning this particular NLD means more to me than the PL.
I want their tears and I’ll settle for nothing else. Vamos!
  • Goddamn this is it. They'll want to stop us from winning the league and a win here.. my God. We need it.
No Udogie for them. Fifteen days rest, I reckon they're rusty. Play the same eleven and make sure we sing "stadiums are empty, everywhere we go!"
  • They might be a little bit fresher than us...they haven't played since the 13th. Probably been fed quantities of Vegemite.
  • If we win this, it would be comfortably the best team we beaten away from home this season. Would be amazing result
  • Leave no c*ck-lover uncrushed!!
  • 36 years since we've done them twice in a row at their place in the league??* I'd imagine many of you weren't even born. Hell, there wasn't even a fully formed internet back then. The world was a cold, dark place and pro footballers smoked and drank pints at halftime.
    * can someone fact check this?
  • Not only will this take us a step closer to the title, but it will take these lot a step further form the CL spot. It's a one-of-a-kind opportunity to crush their spirits completely
  • This is what should motivate us!!
I want to Watch them collapse into the abyss of despair knowing that, no matter what they do, Arsenal's shadow is vast & they will never escape from under it.
  • I see their fans are talking about how Wolves and Chelsea got behind our press, and they feel they can do that better and really hurt us.
They'll probably anticipate us going man for man in our high press, so I expect them to use the bounce or wall pass to progress through our lines once they get the ball out into our midfield.
So Im thinking like with Bayern for example, they go wide to the fullback. The fullback dinks the ball into midfield for a dropping attacker to bounce the ball back to the deeper player advancing and closeby. This deeper player then sends the ball behind the space that Saliba/Gabriel has vacated when following the dropping attacker. Simple but effective stuff which they will definitely be practicing and that we must be ready for.
I do want us to disrupt their short build up in the beginning, because we will create chances that way. As much as they've worked on their short build up, is it still prone to mistakes and our OOP flexibility must exploit that.
We used more of a zonal mark/pressing approach against Chelsea, and I think not getting as tight until they come forward is something we can use against Sp**s as well.
Ideal situation is a goal from high turnovers and then we manage them by sitting off and forcing them to enter midfield. We dont need to try and suffocate them for 60-70 minutes.
First goal will be important for us here, hopefully we can get it quickly. They will be thinking the same.
    Sp**s 0-2 Arsenal.
  • Think @albakos demoted Ox from threads form the time being
I didn't really demote @Oxeki, it's just that after the 3 bad results (Bayern, Aston Villa, Bayern) I threw an idea to @2Smokeyy for starting the match threads, by hoping that it would turn our fortunes around.
Proves it was a right move
  • And now you've ruined it all by allowing @Riou to start the Sp**s thread.
I don't think anyone can argue against us getting what we deserve as a result of this
  • Another season laughing at the perennial losers and their micro-cocks. Absolutely no impact on football since Bill Nicholson in the 60’s. Waste of oxygen. Waste of skin. Literally a pointless club. Their forum in meltdown. COYFG. Been to my fair share of NLD’s, but this is the the biggest in f**king years.
  • fancy us to tear them a new one. 4-1 The Arsenal
  • The occasion and what is currently riding for both teams is what worries me. If we play our game, stay disciplined and don't make silly mistakes this is a fairly straightforward win. They will absolutely get chances so Gabi and Saliba better be up for a very busy day.
    Heart going with 1-2 Arsenal
  • Anyone know a good lasagne chef ?
  • Having a few Gooner mates over to watch the derby. Haven’t been as excited for a football match since the cup final in 2014. Result is obviously difficult to call, but if we’re going down might as well do it getting smashed together. But I do believe we’re in the early stages of something special.
    Come on Arsenal!

They're som much bigger than us that we're pathetic for thinking we're rivals.

But will trade PL title to beat us one match.

Ok then...
