With Bale possibly on his way, and our excellent record in building coveted players I thought I would ask which of the following players in peoples mind has the most potential to be our next big thing.

p.s Of course that player might not be with us yet just a bit of fun.

Will have to see how Sandro performs after his injury but if he continues where he left off then I can see big things for him. Whether or not that will be at WHL God only knows. And Lloris of course, already world class and still early days in his career.

I guess a lot depends on whether we progress into the CL and become regulars. If that happens then surely there is no need for our best players to move on (yes Gareth I'm looking at you!!)

Other than Bale I think we have 3 players at the right age, potential and ability for a giant club to come in for. Lloris, Vertonghen and Sandro.

With his injury I think Kaboul will stay now.

Sandro I would imagine. One full season and they'll be kicking levy's door down.

First they came for the rat-faced Croat
I remained silent
I wasn't a rat-faced Croat

Then they came for the Welsh monkey-boy
I did not speak out
I wasn't a Welsh monkey-boy

Then they came for me
I laughed
They had made a terrible mistake

Getting annoying isn't it. Unfortunately this happens to pretty much all teams, look at Dortmund, but you just need to keep doing what you are doing.

I'll be gutted to lose Bale, as I was with the many players before and the ones to come, but spurs will still remain and if we keep doing the right thing we will continue to be successful.
