Yes Germany looked to be getting closer but there is absolutely no cohesion in that team at all. "Germany could name three squads that could all win in Russia" was often said last summer.

Has Low experimented too much? Picked the wrong squad? Got the prep and tactics wrong? This is just nowhere near the level the team has been between 2013 and 2017.
