Fancy Uruguay to grind out a 1-0 against France.

If Kane scores another two he'll win the golden boot.

If Kane grabs a couple goals against Columbia then I think that could be enough. His only serious competition at this point is Lukaku who is 1 behind with Japan in his sights.

This will be crazy mismatch with Lukaku vs the Japanese defenders. I can see him scoring 3-4 goals on the night.

Very enjoyable games today. Plenty of good goals. Uruguay Portugal was spoult only by all the blatant diving around and trying to cheat at every opportunity.
Uruguay will be tough to beat. Christ they defend well.
I thought Laxalt looked mustard unlike his hair which looked fkin ridiculous lol.
Like to see us go in for him. Good player.

They do, and front to back. Cavani and Suarez put in serious work closing down and niggling in the Portuguese half. They'll give France a real test. Mbappe's pace and finishing is frightening though. Not sure the Uruguay CBs will be any better able to deal with him than Argentina's were today.

Why are people applauding Ronaldo "for his show of sportsmanship after he escorted Edinson Cavani off"? The only reason he helped him off the pitch was so he couldn't waste time. I bet you he wouldn't have helped if Portugal were leading 2-1 with 20 mins left to play.

Uruguay were technically excellent, very hard working, and cynical as fuck. So, the usual Uruguay, only slightly less dirty than usual, to their credit. Thought Cavani's first - the long 1-2 with Suarez ending with the header - was one of the goals of the tournament. Uruguay's progress very much dependent on whether he's fit.

Didn't expect to come out of today with a little more respect for France and Uruguay, but here we are.

Looked good think he is a winger playing at full back so would fit well with poch's system i'd guess
Did he not flop at one of the Italian clubs and get farmed out ?

Can feel a Google coming on

Two good games, I'd go as far as to say the most entertaining day of the WC so far.

Not to mention the money Cavani and Di Maria earned me, woop! Easily my best betting day of the tournament.

At one stage I was on to win over a grand, if only that show pony pretty boy Ronaldo had scored from outside the area, the Cavani header, Ronaldo outside the area double was 200/1. TBH it was the Ronaldo half that I thought by far the likeliest. Tosser :D

Today is pretty shit for bets so I probably won't bother and save my ammo for Monday and Tuesday.

Two cracking goals from Cavani. That first one was one of the best headed (faced?) goals I’ve seen, just so ferocious. And the second goal was a thing of absolute beauty.

The build up or the finish? Because the finish was bodged. The build up however was magical, don't see goals like that too often.
