I hope Belgium drop Witsel and Carrasco for the next game. Possibly Mertens too.

There should be no pressure on England, but the media get carried away far too quickly. As we have seen this world cup there is no easy game, but they really have a great opportunity.

and Brazil. watching them roll around for 90 minutes with that kind of quality on the pitch brought shame to the game.
Neymar has been a disgrace and TBH it's not going to get him seen as anywhere near being the best player in the world if that's how he's going to carry on. Already he's known more for that than his football in this WC, but he seems fine with that. It's why I'd hate to see Brazil win it.

It would feel like a "victory for the sport" if Neymar didn't get to win doing all that crap...

He's a cheat, quite frankly. He's trying to cheat the referee in to thinking he's hurt, or more hurt than he really is with consequences for the player that tackled him. It's cheating. I won't give Brazil one ounce of respect if they win this world cup with behaviour like that.

He's looking more like a clown than one of the best players out there. To be fair, he got stamped on and that shit hurts like a motherfukcer, but as for the rest of his shit show, he's an embarrassment

He had a player put his foot on his ankle and the refs foot at the same time. He wasn't "stamped" on at all.

The ref has to see through that theatrical shit show of his. He does it in every game of his. If the ref's starts to give him yellow cards, I'm certain that he will stop

Imo it was a deliberate stamp from the Mexican player, cus he knew what would trigger Neymar.

Layun clearly did it on purpose. It was Lamela-esque.

What happened to the Brazil that produced so many footballing magicians through the years? (n)

But the fact that Layun's heel trod on the ref's toes in the same movement without the ref so much as flinching says everything about how hard it was.

It was as much a stamp as this is an elbow to the face

Ospina will be sweating this morning, knowing that he has a tough task on his hands...

outdoing Neymar in the "This isn't a football match, it's world war 3" feigning injury theatrics.

I wish British society was a bit more like that. Maybe I wouldn't have to wade through so much rubbish when I walk the dog every morning.

Still giggle when I see this video of British supporters in Amsterdam
