I genuinely don't know what he means. Is he saying - there will be news of no transfers or there will be more news of loads of transfers. Really not obvious at all.

Watched the second half, not a great game of football. Both sides looked leggy, had a preseason game vibe.

As for Wout, even going in knowing how big he is, it’s a bit jarring how absolutely massive he is. When he gets those long legs moving, it’s a sight to behold.

In terms of playing style, it’s what you’d expect. Good movement, holds the ball up, and clearly a threat in the air. He was definitely let down in terms of service today and you could see him get frustrated a couple of times when he got into dangerous positions and the ball didn’t come.

What impressed me most was his defensive workrate, he’s constantly pressing and chasing defenders when they are in possession. He’s really the first defender for Wolfsburg and does excellent work. He had a proper lung busting 70 yard run back when it looked like like Leverkusen had a chance on the counter. Jose will love his application.

It sounds like he needs a good dose of The Weghorst klaxon!

It’s later IMO...am saying just from Jose press conference- he already said we will look to bring in a striker. If manager says that what else do we need for confirmation

The last part of Tas' tweet was 'It’s a worry as I have very little cum left' if that helps with context

I saw it in full and got the impression it meant more business is going to be done and we're not finished.

I've been championing Diallo all window but I'd be very happy with Wout. We saw today how fantastic Kane can be from a deeper position and Wout would be the ideal target man with Son and Bale playing off him. Add to that the skill set of Reguilon delivering balls into the box and I could see Weghorst causing havoc to all sorts of opponents.

he follows every PL club

Just checked (sadly). In the interest of clarity, he doesn’t follow Arsenal, Chelsea, City, United, Palace, Everton, West Brom, West Ham, Leicester, Southampton, Burnley, Wolves or Sheffield United (does follow Sheffield Wednesday though?)
