Ukrainian website Tribuna are reporting that Spurs have entered the race for Konoplyanka, and the Lillywhites are prepared to shell out £15 million for the player. Tribuna also report that Konoplyanka has a £15 million release clause in his current contract.

Linnet is negotiating with "Tottenham"

Midfielder Dnipropetrovsk "Dnipro" and the national team of Ukraine Yevhen Linnet can pursue a career in London "Tottenham".

This became known Tribuna.com from sources close to the Russian side of the transaction. "Tottenham" ready to pay 15 million pounds in the contract Ukrainian as the sum for which the "Dnepr" is obliged to let him go.

Another contender for the Ukrainian is "Liverpool", as previously reported. Note that the transfer window closes in England on January 31, because both clubs are interested in resolving the issue as quickly as possible.

Was also reported on talkSPORT earlier, that another PL side had entered the race for him. Looks like it could well be us. Worth doing this deal just for a laugh on RAWK.

Please let it be true, them missing out on Salah and Konplyanka in one window would be priceless!

They need to get their own scouts I reckon!

In regards to the player, I remember watching him in the Euros a couple summers ago and in their WC qualifying this past summer, and thought he looked a damn solid player. His ability to use both feet, and very quickly, made his play extremely unpredictable. That's something Spurs could certainly use more of. I would absolutely love for this to be true, as I think left wing is our weakest position at the moment.

This lad is the one responsible for that "child lost" look on Kyle Walkers face

:wideyed:

Actually, having just watched this, he only got past Walker once the whole match. Do we need another inverted winger anyway, especially when Tim is no doubt gonna want Townsend on the left? I wouldn't mind if we got him but don't care much if we don't based on the very little I've seen of him

Both footed isnt he but predominantly he uses his right.
