Does anyone else have displeasure when it comes to getting linked with players, people looking at a YouTube clip of them, and then thinking.."he'd be good in a spurs shirt, get him levy!"?

That seems to be happening a lot, most recently with Pav, Arshavin and Falcoa.

Do people not realise that each clip will show the best 3 or 4 minutes of that player from the many thousands they have played?

I know its stating the obvious, but i could upload myself playing football and im sure spurs fans would be saying "Get this wonderboy now!!".

Im not going to judge any new faces until i see them play 90 minutes in a spurs shirt week in and week out, but judging by youtube, it looks like Bent could be berbatovs replacement, no way we need another carrick, for we have zokora, and another defender? Pllleeeease why spend 10 mill on corluka when we could buy the worldclass Titus Bramble for a fraction of the price. See what im getting at? Ok. Point made.

Woops, wrong forum, if a mod could transfer this over to General that would be much appreciated. Apologies for the mistake :)

Not so much displeasure but certainly take the video, as with ITK with a massive pinch of salt.

Everyone knows I love a necro - how about ELEVEN YEARS! ?

Anyway, this raising the dead has a purpose, a game changer.

Today I learned that if you drag and drop the URL of a Youtube video onto VLC player, it plays the video - no ads, no dicking about, and you can use all of the functions of VLC.

You can copy the URL and just paste it while VLC is open and it will open it too, as it will if you copy that URL, select 'Media' > 'Open Location from Clipboard', and probably a dozen other ways.

You're welcome.

edit: Didn't notice this thread was in Gen Football... apologies.
