Ok after this all I ask for is Bernardo then done?
I reckon there are a few folk who would love this but with all the noise about him and United I this, like it was mooted at the weekend, is probably done bar signing the dots and placing the t's.

Shame.

We'll need to replace Eriksen.

On topic, he seems to have some pace and happy to link play up, no idea if it's what we need, but yet again if Mourinho is happy and it's a player he wants who or what do I know! See how legit the link is soon I hope.

Couple of opinions of this guy from reddit

Porto fan here: Ze Luis is a really good striker. Not as good as some Porto had in the recent past (Falcao, Jackson Martínez..) but he's good. His heading skills are really unreal, has decent skill and technique for his height and weight. His finishing gets ups and downs because its all on his mind. With the right mindset he's a top class striker.

Besides that he's REALLY injury prone.

And Spartak fan here (Ze Luis played for us for 4 years till this july): He is very good in the air, very decent target man, but not so good as a striker - he loves to miss his chances a lot. But he can into important goals

Porto and Spurs fan here. Zé Luis is a great striker but the the manager has decided to put him on the bench a lot of games this season. His heading is unreal and finishing is a bit inconsistent. He is Porto's top scorer in the league. He's injury prone (so he's perfect for us) but normally he's played besides another striker so I don't know how that would work.

Looks how Mourinho likes his strikers, strong, can hold the ball up and bring others into play, Son, Moura, Dele, Lo Celso etc. We clearly need another option up top and if he can do what the team needs till the end of the season then I’m mall for it. Rather loan someone like this then spunk transfer fees on some one who is the clubs and managers 5th choice who is then taking up wages and a place in the squad for the next three years.

I know we've apparently got no money to spend and we're relying on Mendes' black book of clients, but surely we're saving some money to actually spend on a Mourinho target? Otherwise we're bringing in punts (albeit on loan) who are taking up squad spaces.

Points to trying to sign Bruno Fernandes

On loan I'd take pretty much anyone who adds something that we are missing with Kane out. However doesn't look on paper like someone we could use outside this spring. 28 years old with first season he is hitting them in with bit better rate.

Severely underwhelming. Would any of the other top 6 clubs sign him? No? Then neither should we. We need to act like a big club. We've got money, we need a forward who can play up top or as a wide forward.

The other top 6 clubs have plenty of cover up front. We don't.

There’s potentially Premier League quality players at almost every level of professional football. For example, a youth player who might’ve failed to be signed by a Prem club and restarted from the bottom of the footballing table. I’d like to think our scouts can identify them wherever they are, regardless on whether other top 6 clubs are interested or not

Liverpool have got Divock Origi as back up.
