he is not an effective player and now making a rash challenge like that Just no brain

was no worse that Wilshere's challenge that got a yellow.

And as they just said on SS1, thats his first sending off.

Wow, pretty memorable debuts for Cole and Koscielny!

Both teams look poor (albeit without Torres, Van Persie, and Fabregas)

3rd place is very, very achievable for us this season!

liverpool still look rubbish, especially without torres. Arsenal look a real top 4 team compared to liverpools midtable level. with man city and us think they may struggle to see champions league football again unless they get there own mega rich free spending owners

looks like we dodged a bullet in cole

Nah, Cole just chose retirement over one last opportunity to fulfill his potential.

If he'd have signed for us I reckon it would have been a declaration of intent. He may have failed but it wouldn't be like the living death of liverpool.

so far so good. A draw with some red cards or injuries is probably perfect

As Jamie Redknapp remarked there, never mind a red card (and maybe a 3 game ban) for Cole - it could have been up 6 months out for the young guy Koscielny.
From Cole it was so stupidly reckless, borne out of frustration at ineffective performance from him. With quite a lot of pressure on him with this high profile move and lots of noise from him about being so happy to join "the biggest club in the world" etc, it is possible that if things don't go well on the pitch for him in the other games too he will start losing control again.

I'm not sure how I feel about this, I hate Arse but Liverpool are one of our top four rivals.

They both are. A draw is an ideal result but for the life of me, especially this early in the season, I can't bring myself to want the scum to get anything and I'm enjoying them losing to 10 men.
