So you guys feel its best to put more money on dead certs (although I know nothing ever is) and win a few hundred rather then say chuck a few quid on many more matches with the potential of winning a lot more?

I think you misunderstoof me
It wasnt a statement, it was more like a question.To reword it. Im an accumulator newbie, so I was asking if you felt its better / easier to win money by sticking larger sums on a few dead certs or by putting smaller amounts on more matches with some upsets in there to increase your odds; because from what ive seen in this thread, the people that tend to be winning are those that are putting between £15 - £50 quid on 4 or 5 teams (favourites) to win there games. Whereas ive been putting quids here and there on over 10 matches (with a few upsets) and have yet to win a accumulator.
I guess its down to personal preference, but does anyone here have a particularly good record, and a saferproof way of playing and winning on accumulators?
