Spurs Community End of Season Awards

As we're entering into the final straight of the season and to try and boost the positivity, I thought why not have a selection of awards for this season.

This thread is for the nominations.

Reply to this with your nominations (players name in bold please), each member gets one nomination, and after a week nominations will close, and I will produce a thread with a poll for the official vote.

Feel free to post a little explanation as to why you've made the nominations you have, and we can reminisce over some of the highlights of the previous season.

Individual performance of the year - Bale at the San Siro
Goal of the season - Bale against Stoke City
Moment of the season - 1-0 win at the San Siro vs AC Milan

Goal of the season: VDV second v Villa
Moment of the season: No one really, just being in the CL- go for Crouchy's winner at Milan if you need one.

Player of the Year : Luka Modric

Team performance of the year : AC Milan 0-1 Tottenham Hotspur this result cannot be under-estimated.

Individual performance of the year : Gareth Bale vs Inter Milan (A)
probably the best performance I have seen from one player ever.

Goal of the season : Hard choice, but for sheer difficulty, Bale v Stoke

Moment of the season : So many to choose, but for sheer emotion it has to be Arsenal 2-3 Spurs.

Good idea!

Player of the Year: Luka Modric - I just think some of the things he's done this year have been outstanding, it was tough with Bale, but Modric just edges it for me

Team Performance of the year: Arsenal 2-3 Spurs - Again this was close for the Inter home game, but the comeback and team spirit in that second half was just a joy to watch

Individual performance of the year: Gareth Bale vs Inter away - No brainer really

Goal of the season: Rafa Van der Vaart vs Inter home - Modric does some wizadry central midfield, then slips in VdV with a sublime inside pass:

Moment of the Season: First appearance of the Champions League theme at WHL vs Young Boys - Shivers

There will be four other awards to follow, but with six potentially huge games to go, it wouldn't be fair to start the nomination process yet. Nominations for the remaining awards will start on Friday 13th May, with the final vote commencing on Monday 23rd May, the morning after our final game.

Player of the Year - William Gallas - he has been immense, quite frankly we would have been lost without him.
Team performance of the year - 1-0 Milan, San Siro
Individual performance of the year - Gareth Bale, Inter Milan, San Siro
Goal of the season - Gareth Bale, Stoke
Moment of the season - Winning at the Emirates for the 1st time.

Player of the year was a tough one for me, as i also think that Gallas and BAE deserve massive credit for their performances this year, but Modric just edges it for me.
