Man City are trying to sign Honda, which means they won't be targeting our midfield targets.....oh wait, they are not longer a 11th place side and wouldn't want Parker and Diarra anyway. Silly me

Our links....Diarra, Rio, Parker, Drogba, Friedel

Say we sign all of them and every Mod gets to spunk their load because oddly the mods seem totally on the side of "if its old, its gold". Some are still good players. But we will start to have such an old side that in two years we will need to replace 11 to 15 players. Do you honestly think we have the academy or resources to replace that many players at once.

Short termism will do as much harm to this club as giving out 200p/w contracts.

Our only hope is that Levy will not cave.

All of the media outlets show, and, in case you had missed it, several posters on here have pointed out to you, that we have been linked to <extensive list> of young players. You constant refusal to acknowledge thiss, in order to continue with your ranting is, I'm afraid, starting to make you sound a bit unbalanced.

Sorry, it's not meant as a personal attack. Just the way it seems.

I resent that comment. If it can offer something even short term as long as we supplement an older signing with a younger player in the same position so they can learn from the older player then it's not so much of a problem for me.

If we just signed 6 or 7 30+ old players then that would worry me massively, especially if that means our younger and more promising talent fails to get games and then wants to leave for first team football.

I'm guessing you're saying this because I said that Drogba, Rio and Parker would be good signings?

Clueless.

I'm not liking all these links to centre midfielders, why don't we get a few more bloody right backs whilst we're at it!

Well, you got some. Pablo Osvaldo being an infamous "done deal" after a conversation with a man who claims to be his agent.

Cheers to philbcn for passing it on but as far as trustworthy info goes ... I'm not holding my breath.

Never seen him play but after seeing his goal scoring record it doesn't exactly fill me with confidence!

neither was cavani, but look at him now. i just hope osvaldo isn't our primary target and more one third of a trio being lined up.

ditto, not exactly prolific is he.

True but his record this season 13 goals in 24 appearances is a better than what we currently have. Pav got 7 goals in 28 matches and he is our best striker this season in the league.

i meant trio as in 3 attacking players, falcao/benzema and another striker (in this case osvaldo) along with marin. redknapps obviously not gonna sell crouch or defoe

i just realised that i guess thats still highly unlikely too though with current management given the last 2 windows.

Just realised who osvaldo is!

He was the awful striker that I thought was dreadful earlier on this year when I was watching there game

The British newspaper Daily Mail reports that Tottenham will bid 22 million euros for Colombian striker Radamel Falcao.

So what the story with the lastest ITK?

How has Philbcn come across this?

Has he had any info before?

I admire some of the work that Levy has done over the years but if he thinks he can get a bargain out of Ol' Pinto da Costa then he's mistaken.

Activate the bloody buyout clause or some other bastard will.
