Kind of brings more to the whole goals from the side thing as well. Although, the strikers definately had their part to play....which makes me think defending them sounds a bit funny, as if we're going to keep most of them or something!

Which side does Affelay play?

I think he meant what side of the pitch. RHS, correct?

Yep, thanks.

Am I reading Jasper's ITK from last night correctly.

It seems to be saying that Adebayor will take a wage cut if somebody pays him what he will miss out on.

I should have tried that with my bosses at work.

Thats how I read it too. May-be he wants it made up in a signing on/exit fee.

on the right mainly nailsy, think that what you meant aint it?

Cheers. Competetion for Lennon then. Exactly what we need.

I'm sorry but I doubt very much that Redknapp would openly discuss transfers and player happiness with some fan who turns up at any sort of event/training/game.

He didin't say he openly discussed all our transfer plans, he said he smiled and said we're woking on things.

To be honest that's the bit I don't believe...Harry just saying that, it would be more believeable if he did divulge all our plans

Thats how I read it, because Bale scored his fair share!!!

VDV scored a few but not many from the wing and modric hasn't scored many and if only he scored that chance against arsenal we would of done the double

Does he realise that our strikers, even including VDV, scored 31 goals between them last season in the league.

In 0708 Berba, Keane, bent and half a season of Defoe scored 40 between them in the league.

Isn't that basically saying that it was all Lennon's fault then?

I think Lennon is becoming a weak link for us, he really does need to chip In with more goals and assist's to justify his place, but I cant see this happening. Someone like Robben or even Shaqiri would be awesome on our right.

We were rubbish in the second half of that season

Isn't that 2 mentions of Robben in 2 days?

I can't see anything being completed until the team return from South Africa. But if the developments over night were positive I can see Vucinic being concluded early next week.

What does the location of Jordan, Bond and the players have to do with signing anyone?

Levy and the directors have not been in SA, and Redknapp and other staff have flown back in the past day or two (Redknapp is most certainly in Southwark today - anyone can go and see him in the dock from the public gallary if they like :))

So we can sell our players first. I still can't see us buying before we sell. Maybe Vucinic, but certainly not anyone else in my opinion.
