I know the deal can be done without them, and im sure it could be all but completed before they return. But i'd expect any new players to sit down with Harry before commiting to his team. I could be wrong but that's how I see it.

Just heard from a friend who works at the club.

There are 4 bids in for 4 players 3 at £20m and 1 for £35m the club is confident that all 4 deals will be done. All he would tell me was that ONE PLAYER IS UK BASED. He said I would be delighted if all goes through. he will pass more info when he has it.

Lennon needs to work on his confidence and the manager should give him licence to roam from the wing during games. He can develop into the player that Sanchez looks like becoming.

Also I refuse to believe that deep down Harry isn't angry with the strikers.

POTL said Keane, Hutton and Palacios will be gone early next week. Money wise that's probably c.£23m income for £15m spent on Vucinic.

A classic example of a quality player happy to sit on the bench at a big club and play a minmial part.

As soon as Fabregas is unveiled Affelay will struggle to even make the bench + Barca will be desperate to shift soem players to rake some money back in so I expect Affely to be surplus to requirements at some stage.

Pep signed him to add some quality, Rosell signed him to make a quick profit for transfers imo

He's still adapting at Barca. Unfortunately it would be the same for us too. He'll need time to develop his game, so not really the type of player who would come in and make an instant impact.

I think Mata is the sort of wide attacker we should go all out for if we want goals from the side. But very hard to pull off.

Maybe that was last night's development - Harry took him down Lorenzo's to share his vision over some carbonara and chianti (he's been missing from Roma events for more than a day now after all).
