Not many people on here will believe this info but i am ever the optimist and have absolute faith in DL's ambition.

People always say "he's a businessman" in order to criticise his approach, but it is his business acumen that makes me believe that he genuinely will invest. He has the CL money burning a whole in his pocket, and wants to get there again.

Spaffing £95M plus wages would be incredible and i would love to see the looks on the faces of every tabloid hack, chelsum, arse, manu and city fan

Here's my guesses :
3 players around £20m = Vucinic , Adebayor (Uk based) , Mata.
£35m player = Rossi.

£35m could be Rossi

Vucinic, Adebayor (officially UK based), Leandro and Diarra are all £15m players more than £20m ones though (Leandro even less).

I would have to imagine that in those 4 players there is a Modric replacement. Can't see us getting 4 new first teamers without losing one or two.

Surely that validates my point further? In a season where we were crap in the first ten games (hence Jol getting sacked) and crap from the end of Febuary onwards (after the league cup win) our 3.5 forwards still managed more then our 4 forwards managed last season between them...

35m - Rossi
20m - Mata
20m - Cahill (UK)
20m - Vucinic
