We are not buying him as a replacement for Bale, we are buying him to play a striker and score shit loads of goals. In your logic, we should just put Bale up front.

10 in 28. 0.36 gpg

In his two league campaigns for us Berbatov got 12 and then 15 in 33 and 36. 0.36 & 0.42 gpg.

So not too shabby. Playing from the left as well...

Totally agree that we need to spens more sensibly than Citeh, but if this
guy is no better than our present lot, then our scouts need sacking harry needs to go and fuck it so does levy.

How can you not get a tad excited about replacing one of our dire strikers.

He played 1868 minutes last season, which is roughly 21 complete games, so about a goal every other game. Same the season before - roughly 28 complete games and 14 goals.

What is a worry why has he only played that amount of games? is he injury prone as we have most def had enough of that!!:roll:
