I still maintain that Lennon would be best utilised as a super sub role to come on in the last half hour and look to not only stretch teams on the counter but add more directness to our play.

This is partly due because I can't ever see two wingers of Bale and Lennon working well, coupled with maximising the potential of our other personnel, namely VdV and Modric.

You'd only buy Marin if you were selling bale (and he'd be a decent replacement). He's really not as good as people seem to think based on 45 minutes against us last season.

Marin can play anywhere across the middle of the park.

and i firmly believ harry wants this. he tried it briefly i remember at newcastlw last season but bale got basically messed up and injured for long time after that. its another string to the bow. cant have enought quality creative players that really give competition

He has plays on the right for germany and has played upfront, on the left, right and behind the striker for bremen

Maybe the option would be playing with bale at lb against wigan, stoke, etc and against chelseas's etc play with bae at lb.
