I would be absolutely thrilled if we got Abel Hernandez. Already better than most of our strikers, only 21 and still very raw. I did quite a few threads on COYS about him when I was over there and would love to C&P some opinions on him if I could. He could potentially be a monster for us. I think this comes under the Leandro category of potential that can play now.

Come on, we are starting soon and havent signed anyone.
Signings should have time to adapt to the team, thats what preseason is for, instead if we sign anyone we'll through him into the team with the season started and expect him to score 30 goals and 15 assists.

We have been tagged about Benzema and others from RM.
I can confirm from a very reliable source. We do have a good understanding with them.
I think we can expect AT LEAST 1 player from RM IF all goes well.
I can also tell you that both Liverpool and Arsenal are looking into the RM squad.
Players like Kaka, Alonso, Benzema, Huguian, Diarra, Gago...
They were expecting a bid for Kaka from Chelsea...it hasn't materialized
I informed the mods of Ade a few days before it was picked up.
I also have it now that we may be in for Forlan on a cheap.
Im told we expect 2 strikers to go hopefully before the end of the month (probably Crouch and Keane), Hutton, Gio and Everton are looking at Krankie and another midfielder.
A.Villa looking into some midfielder and Hutton too.
Goint to a wedding and will see you all later...
Exciting times ahead specially if Chelsea don't pull the Modric deal!!!

Do hope Brownheads info comes to something - every time i see Benzema i come away feeling really confident that he would be a big success in the PL -he has everything we need with pace , strength and a great finisher as well - i dont feel we would be taking a risk with him whereas some of the other names mentioned dont inspire the same confidence

i would hazzard a guess that he either missed out the word off, or he want cfc to buy modric....choice is yours, personally, i would not pay to much attention
