thats a good point - POTL said it was a loan deal the other day, but his latest ITK would suggest otherwise wouldnt it? If Man City are going to loan him to us then i would expect they would subsidise his wages like they did last season with him and Bellamy

I read that he has pleaded with Inter to let him join City. Which makes sense, they've not got enough fucking strikers.

Remember he was on loan from Real somewhere and was heavily linked with us and said some very promising things? Never played in England yet, supposedly some kind of affinity for us, plus he saw our quality first hand last season.
He'd be dreamland material, I'd take back everything I said about Levy and donate £30 to SC (I'm not a stockbroker or anything and just got a new dog and a few irons in the women fire) if we signed him.

My work colleague who is pretty hot on Man City stuff is in a meeting until this afternoon, so if i can get something from him i will.
From what he has told me over the past week or so, Adebayor himself was holding out for a move abroad, and to Real Madrid and until this avenue is completley shut then it is very unlikely that he would entertain a move elsewhere.
The other problem we have is that even though Adebayor is willing to take a pay cut to play football, we would still have to smash our wage cap and then we have to agree something with City, which is no easy task.
I will update again this afternoon if i can, but just a thought what if Blue actually means out of the Blue, someone we have not even considered?

If they paid £50K a week toward his wages we'd still have to break our wage structure by £50K a week.
