This is one of those urban myths, the club has a wage budget not a ceiling, hence the need to get rid of the deadwood to enable less squad numbers to get paid more. :bang:

He's said he wants out of Inter, they have Balotelli, Dzeko, Aguero, Adebayor, Santa Cruz and Tevez still.

I thought it was their plan to buy up all of the strikers so no-one could score against them.

It would explain why they haven't looked at our front 4 flops. :wink:

Exactly, we don't even know what "breaking the wage structure" means. I'm pretty sure it doesn't mean "paying players so much that we'll go bust if we're not in the CL every season".

We can't afford to break this wage structure, especially not for Adebayor. All hell's going to break loose, Bale and co. are going to be wanting parity and then we're in trouble...

If we're going to break it for someone, make them worthwhile, like Llorente.

That's what I had heard.

Presumably us breaking the wage structure would simply be a case of temporarily going over the total wage limit for the squad.

Once we shift a couple of other players it would most likely take the total wage back below the limit.

Sounds to me like Levy might be willing to speculate to accumulate again.

I really hope Blue is not Ade.

I think Ade would do well for us but i seem to remember POTL saying blue and yellow would keep modric happy. I dont see Ade as being a statement of intent to Modric, unless POTL rates Ade alot higher than the rest of us.
