Told Levy pushing hard for a deal to be thrashed out sooner rather than later
His wages are the problem though, he will cut but still wants more than what spuds max pay is. Think there highest earner is either £75/80k he wants £100k+ Bonuses
Hence this may effect actual transfer fee.

If we are in talks for Adebayor I suspect they'll take a while. There must be a huge number of issues to deal with. Assuming it's a loan we'll have to organise a loan fee, a potential future purchase fee, who is paying his wages, what his wages actually are, bonuses etc, agents fees.
Basically all the stuff you normally have to sort out but with the added problem of working out how it's shared between two competing clubs.

I have no doubt that POTL was always referring to Adebayor from the off. If you actually read the posts over and in order you can see that he subtly mentions Adebayor for the first time after Harry confirms our interest...but he attachs B&Y at the very end of the paragraph after discussing Adebayor by name...I took that to mean Adebayor was part of B&Y in a subtle way.

Blimey whats with all the Ade rimming, he aint that great. Yes he is an ok player and yes he will be an improvement on our current crop but if he was as good as some of you are making out then either Man City would be keeping him or Real would be buying or loaning him for another season.
Despite the number of strikers City have only Aguero really stands out and he is still untested, balotelli is awful, Dezko hardly set the prem alight so far and tevez is half way out the door. If Ade was this big goalscorer then why on eath would they let him go? And more importantly why would they let him go to us as if he did do well then we could be challenging them in the top four.
I just dont see Ade to spurs happening.

I'm hoping it will be Llorente and Nilmar, perfect couple of big and little and Nilmar can always play on the right when Llorente is up top.

I think this was discussed the other day. In deals like this there is rarely a recall clause. I think we came to the general conclusion that where a loan fee is paid, there's normally no recall clause.
