He also told me that chances were slim as Spurs would maybe look to pursue other targets and we would know more later this week.
Now this was over 10 days ago, so maybe things have changed from Madrid's end, Tottenhams end, i am not sure, but Adebayor would come to Spurs, but i get the feeling that the Madrid line needs to be cut off first.

Its very complicated as i get my info second hand and it is more Man City orientated than Spurs, so i take it with a pinch of salt, even though what he has told me over the past 6 weeks, although not groundbreaking has been spot on so far

Equally I could say that I've been tellling people Messi won't sign for us and so far I've been spot on too.

Not disputing your info, but it's easier for someone (this is not directed at you) to claim that a player hasn't signed over someone who claims to know a time and date when they will.
