I'd take both plus Samba. Play a 4-2-4 with those 3 plus Crouch and just win games from set pieces.

I respect the ITK system but do find it impossible to take any of it seriously anymore

It's just a bit of fun

At least we are still being linked to the big strikers by the ITK's rather than picking up signs that we are giving up hope and moving on to the less prestigious players. I'm sure the money and the will to do a deal is there from Levy, all we need is a little bit of his negotiating magic to start working and we'll be fine.

By the way, can I just say thanks to all the mods, ITK's, and rumour rangers for making this such an excellent part of SC.

Would you rather Adebayor or Llorente?
Llorente is a long term answer to the striker problem and a perfect fit. All this Adebayor talk has pointed to a season long loan with probably wage problems. Llorente no doubt.

i agree , fun reading them but at end of day the one big transfer we had in our history not one of them got wind of it in modric. again it was same with van der vaart until it was late in day and transfer complete when someone heard of it.

if anything any player mentioned here will prob not sign and will be someone completely different. the ones we hear about i think are ones where dont have any serious competition for signature
