Question marks over this injury have obviously been around for longer than just today - there were reports when he was left out against Hearts. Anyway the significance to that is that since that game there have been three or four instances where Bond and Redknapp have said Levy's position is exactly the same, so it would seem highly unlikely that he would suddenly now consider £30m.

This is just my opinion but it seems now to go past the fact they bid 30mill its more the point the player seems to refuse to play for us! we cant have that! maybe the board and harry are meeting to discuss how to get around this and wat to do next?

I don't actually think he's adie. For a start he called the unfinished status of the Diarra and Ade deals when everyone else was saying they were done. Adie's was all talk, dressed up as 1000% certainties...balls on the line.

What's it got to do with anything? Adie crashed this site on numerous occasions by claiming to have valuable "updates" which proved to be little more than slightly informed rumours. He was an attention seeker that made things out to be far more than they actually were, and therefore his credentials were severely damaged by the time he got asked to stop posting.

If wpd659 was the same guy, it would render his comments little more than embellished rumours, rather than the interesting updates they are now...so no the answer is a long way from "nothing".

I don't think he is the same guy though.

Fair enough - I don't follow/take any notice of the in-house bitching as we get warned pretty much every day not to criticise ITK's (not that I ever do).

Before coming on this site, I used to think Skysports were gods when it came to transfers ... now I know there full of complete utter shite, lol.

If Levy and Redknapp are to have a meeting - then presumably its a phone meeting as isn#t Levy in USA and what time does Harry leave to get up to Manchester or do they spend the night before in a hotel for away games?

I'm over Modric. Let whoever the fuck wants him have him just to piss Chelscum off. They make me sick to my stomach and to see one of the best to ever wear lillywhite wanting to go there is pissing me off royally. I'm so angry I can't sleep.

Straight swap for Robben and be done with it.

Tbh the txt didnt say it was a meeting with levy it said a meeting with a board member. so obviously levy would be in the loop but just not at the meeting i would of guessed seeing he is in the USA

Of course he is the chairman? I never said he wernt going to be involved?

No I know. Apologies I didn't mean it quite like that. What I mean is given everything we know about Daniel Levy, I doubt anyone other than maybe Joe Lewis, has any material impact on that kind of decision. Especially in this case Redknapp.

Absolutely nothing happens without Daniel Levy's involvement.

That's a pity, i had a vision of everyone meeting behind his back and secretly selling Modric to Chelsea whilst making sly digs about his perfectly rounded hairless head.

So what if he is adiepf .... what's that got to do with anything? ans - nothing.

alot of posters know who adie is and it isn't wpd

Absolutely nothing happens without Daniel Levy's involvement.

Some deals have been carried out by eales and curran iirc, Levy signs off on everything but he would most likely to brief the people below what will happen and what won't

Tbh from what i have been told Matthew Collecott who is the Finance director does alot of the negotiating with levy. maybe its him having the meeting tomoz with harry.

Seeing as we've got some ITK on the Modric situation, this isn't quite ITK but the situation is baffling and I have a theory as to what may be going on. Please note: Theory. Definitely not reality. As far as I know.

Two things don't add up. And I'm not talking about the Moderators responsible for numbering the Read Only Thread.

1) If we were adamant that Modric is not for sale and Chelsea keep making these bids and going public in the press, why aren't we reporting CFC to the FA?
2) If we have evidence of tapping up then, again, why aren't we pursuing legal measures in the same way we did with Keane and Berba. After all, that worked if in no other way than getting mammoth transfer fees and raising millions for charity.

Maybe we don't have evidence... yeah, right. We'll tap phones and access bank accounts from council members and of the West Ham board but when it comes to the slipperiest scumbag toerag Kia Joorabchian and one of the world's most notorious gangsters Roman Abramovich, we can get nothing.

Maybe, just maybe - and in the hugely unlikely case that anyone thinks I have even the vaguest whiff of ITK about me, let me assure you I have about as much "know" as a TribalFootball "journalist" - we have the evidence. We have a lot of it. We are ready to launch the suit. But there's a reason we're not doing so. Maybe there's a reason that we will only consider laying the case out on September 1st or 2nd.

I think it's got nothing to do with Modric and everything to do with the fact that we want to deal with Chelsea on other matters. I think once we've got that (and I'll throw the names of Drogba and Sturridge out there), we'll lay this watertight case out and see Chelsea literally fucked from start to finish with an aging squad plus a couple of kids to serve them until, at least - given their 12 month suspended transfer ban that will surely become active - January 2013.

If we go for the ban now, depending on when it gets enforced, they may still be able to recruit next summer. Why let them get away with that?

As I say, just a thought. I guess we'll know when Levy does his annual OS address to the fans on September 1.
