I can't imagine AVB agreeing to Spurs without being promised a transfer budget. If AVB does come, it could be a good summer for transfers.

JJ is teasing at the mo re vertonghen.. Won't say anything either way! All we wanna hear is a yes or no that it's likely to happen!!! Can't be too much to ask surely???? Plus wouldn't need any other info which might scupper other plans as we can safely say JJ is a solid itk

I'm totally confused... I'd be happy with Moyes or AVB but those 2 noodles cryptics seems to be utter guff.... And WTF is that Berba chatting about? Lol
And now we have no direction re signings either.

I think it's fair to say we are all ITD (in the dark) not ITK!!

Don't think he said that exactly as that would rule out 9-10 names already. Pretty sure he just said that the press are assuming its AVB because he's available & we want a more European approach to managing/coaching.

Thats not entirely true as i said the press haven't got a clue not that they haven't mentioned the person ....

'The press have nothing to go on regarding our next manager. Not a sniff. So they have all had a good think about it and decided that AVB is our man.
They know we want a European style set up so they have decided that it must be AVB and it is logical to appoint him and everyone is coming out and agreeing.
However that isn't the case yet, as i said before , we will announce someone when we are ready which isn't now.
I'm not saying we will or we wont appoint him just that nothing has been finalised yet'

Basically translates as we will try for Guardiola and if he says no we will appoint AVB.

What about Verts? just let us know if we should start dealing with the fact that we will lose him....

Barcelona coach said yesterday they only wanted a centre back and a left back this summer.... Any good centre halves available??? I can think if one who is in limbo at the mo....
