Morning mate.

Thanks for the nudges in the right direction last night. Interesting.

I'm 100% certain uncle joe and our glorious chairman won't let us down whatever happens in the next 10 days

I hope you two are right, because it appears a bit of a mess atm.

Have the managerial candidates even been considered about players we're talking to?!

Who has selected these players?

I can't help thinking the BM Volley player os Robben. as a club we have always coveted him. He fell out with Ribery and the top brass at Bayern and is probably mates with Rafa. I stress probably in that sentence.

JJ alluded it's not a BM player, but the volley is significant. I wish people would stop dreaming, why is Robben going to leave Bayern to come to a non CL team for less money? Never mind the fee which we wouldn't pay anyway.

Shit don't make sense.

Who is either young or running out of contract and is NOT a megastar yet that scored a volley last season?

my concern about a British billionaire owner is that he is likely to be a sensible businessman rather than a megolomaniac fruitcake with an ego the size of the empire state building throwing money around like a bent siberian oligarc. seems to me that jj' confirmed akqayid's ITK just a matter of degree.

Long as its enough investment to keep us in top 4 that would be enough for me. Arab/Russian investment is a long shot and unlikely..

I've said it before and here it comes again...........Some of you have the attention span of snot.

Bitch never came home last night. Apparently she was at an all night candle lit vigil for some crappy cause or another and couldn't get home because of the rain. It wasn't the fact that we never had any rain that aroused my suspicions, or that this so called vigil was being held in a notorious local dogging hotpsot, it was seeing her hair matted with spunk that concerned me. She put my mind at rest however when she explained that it wasn't jism, but soap from one of them soap dispensers in public toilets, seems someone had realinged the nozzle to point upwards and when she pressed down it shot up into her face. Fucking pranksters.
hope you did not use it to wash your face ;)

Could the volley player be marco reus, he's German and scored a volley against Greece the other night? Plus he's a striker.

Who was the lovely chap who did the little summary posts last window.
They were always really handy when we had an info dump like this as they stopped (to a degree) the multiple posts of is it player A followed by the no it can't be he has already signed for club B (this does not mean club BRugges before some wag suggests it)

Hopefully the FFP rules will then take care of the likes of City and Chelsea blowing everyone out of the water by paying truly obscene wages.

Wish I shared your optimism - I feel that FFP is hardly going to affect teams like City and Chelsea - they'll find ways of getting round it . All it's going to do is make it harder for new teams to muscle their way in and help preserve the status quo.

No offence but if Akqayid either A) mistakenly thought the "volley" player in question played for Bayern Munich or B) incorrectly initialized a none B.M. Team to BM doesn't that make anyone a little less confident on it actually happening?

I mean a lot of people are jumping on it being Sigurdsson, because, you know, he scored a volley. But no one seems to care that there's no way he can fit the BM player part. I can't see how either a) Akqayid thought he played for Bayern/Borrussia OR Akqayid thought that BM was a good abbreviation for Hoffenhiem.

The fact that he came out today with the volley link really implies to me that it's Reus. Scored a volley this week. Currently plays for a BM team but of course has already agrees to move to Dortmund as per July 1st.

This thread is becoming an endless cycle of people suggesting Reus and Robben and simultaneously being shot down
