I trust JJ 100% but he did say that Sig had not totally made up his mind?

But that we were strong favourites

I don't recall seeing that. I remember him saying "Who says we haven't signed a player yet?" and then earlier this week saying that Sigurdsson was the player he was talking about.

At this rate we're only left with Dawson, Kaboul, Caulker, Bassong(assuming he is still here Aug 1st) and Vertonghen...Bongani has gone, Nelsen released, King retired, Gallas possibly going Wet Sham....

I hope we get reinforcements knowing how bad our injury jinx is..
Err, that's pretty much the best pool of centre backs in the Premier League, and 5 is plenty. In an emergency I'm sure Huddlestone or even Sandro could do a job in there.

When you say best pool of centre backs. Which players are you referring to?

Aren't UA including an innovative feature into our kit whereby coaches on the sidelines can monitor players performances.
Tbf coaches have had this technology for years: before Sam Allerdyce brought ProZone to the fore there was a coaching technique which enabled analysis of the effort and conditioning of the players: watching them with your eyes!
I'd love the UA kits to reveal previously undiscovered levels of knowledge about our players but I'm pretty sure you don't need a biometric shirt to say that Huddlestone would be a better player if he didn't snort down a happy meal or three on the way home from training!

That's been hinted at by both JJ and Akqayid.
Very true. Had forgotten the details. Seems the most sensible way forward too, for all parties involved. Also, would make any potential future takeover/buyout, when ENIC do decide to sell up, that little bit easier.

You're kidding right?

Kaboul & Vertonghen are awesome, Caulker has potential but only 1 years prem experience, Dawson is injury prone and despite giving 110% effort isn't good enough and Bassong is useless - hence why he's been loaned out for pretty much the last 2 seasons.

All the best to King, a true hero.

Sigurdsson - not bothered either way if he signs .... he would only be a squad player anyway. He showed potential at Reading but failed at Hoffenheim and although he had a decent spell at Swansea it doesn't mean he's good enough for us. Look at Danny Graham - had an excellent season yet he's nowhere near good enough to wear a Spurs shirt.

We can't announce or reveil our new kits as we are still sponsored and contracted with Autonomy and Investec, which is why by contract agreements, their sponsors will remain on our site until the contract is up, which will be July 8th.
The Investment will coincide with our new sponsor, as I can see our sponsor being a company like Qatari Airways, who will announce shirt sponsorship and stadium sponsorship, and investing a lot of money into Tottenham.

Players like Bale and Parker signing contract extensions and better wage agreements are because we probably can give them better terms due to this investment.

Wasn't he player of the year in his first season there? I thought the reason he went to Swansea was because Hoffenheim changed managers and the new guy didn't want him?
