Shame about Ledley, sad but kind of inevitable
Hope he will get a testimonial so fans can show their appreciation

I trust JJ 100% but he did say that Sig had not totally made up his mind?
But that we were strong favourites
Err, that's pretty much the best pool of centre backs in the Premier League, and 5 is plenty. In an emergency I'm sure Huddlestone or even Sandro could do a job in there. At this rate we're only left with Dawson, Kaboul, Caulker, Bassong(assuming he is still here Aug 1st) and Vertonghen...Bongani has gone, Nelsen released, King retired, Gallas possibly going Wet Sham....
I hope we get reinforcements knowing how bad our injury jinx is..
So more like an investment maybe as opposed to a takeover. Interesting.
Own brand of pen... (mont) blanc perhaps?
Beat me to it! Does that make us classy?!! I think so.
Ledley King needs to become a coach at the club Technically there has never been a better defender in lillywhite
When you say best pool of centre backs. Which players are you referring to?Err, that's pretty much the best pool of centre backs in the Premier League, and 5 is plenty. In an emergency I'm sure Huddlestone or even Sandro could do a job in there.
Tbf coaches have had this technology for years: before Sam Allerdyce brought ProZone to the fore there was a coaching technique which enabled analysis of the effort and conditioning of the players: watching them with your eyes!Aren't UA including an innovative feature into our kit whereby coaches on the sidelines can monitor players performances.
but can he communicate? He's never impressed me in TV interviewsLedley King needs to become a coach at the club Technically there has never been a better defender in lillywhite
Very true. Had forgotten the details. Seems the most sensible way forward too, for all parties involved. Also, would make any potential future takeover/buyout, when ENIC do decide to sell up, that little bit easier. That's been hinted at by both JJ and Akqayid.

I've heard stories.....You haven't seen me play CB in my replica kit then
but can he communicate? He's never impressed me in TV interviews
You're kidding right?
Kaboul & Vertonghen are awesome, Caulker has potential but only 1 years prem experience, Dawson is injury prone and despite giving 110% effort isn't good enough and Bassong is useless - hence why he's been loaned out for pretty much the last 2 seasons.
All the best to King, a true hero.
Sigurdsson - not bothered either way if he signs .... he would only be a squad player anyway. He showed potential at Reading but failed at Hoffenheim and although he had a decent spell at Swansea it doesn't mean he's good enough for us. Look at Danny Graham - had an excellent season yet he's nowhere near good enough to wear a Spurs shirt.
